First Day Of School

Today is The Kid's first day of kindergarten.  The first three days are half days, so we walked him over after lunch.  We hung out with him for about 20 minutes, but it was clear he could care less whether we were there or not.  He was immediately dialed in.  I can tell already he's gonna love it.

In keeping with the excessive theme, I took a lot of pictures.

When did this.....

...turn into this?!

  2. No fair. We didn't have digital photography when my kids were this age! Oooh! The Kid is so darn cute! What a precious smile. You must be so proud. And the photos with Sister are just adorable. How you're going to treasure these in years to come. Btw, you look so pretty walking with your 3! children. It warms my heart to see families that love each other.

  3. Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos! The Kid is totally cute and looks so ready for this new chapter to start. The question is, did you have a hard time with this day? Great that The Dad could be there, too.

  11. Mindy! Not one tear?? How does that happen - I get all teary eyed looking at YOUR son's first day of school :) Carter looks adorable, as does Emma. Love his little picture of flowers he was working on too. So curious to hear of your days with Emma now with no built in playmate - you need to post a typical day as soon as they get typical :)
